It is an honor to be working with so many talented youth in Salisbury. These students are giving up their free time to spend on average 18 hours a week rehearsing for this show. Disney has done a great job with making the stage version true to their TV version.
They have developed some of your favorite characters such as Martha Cox, Taylor, Chad and Zeke, to have greater importance in the stage version, as well as, kept Troy and Gabriella as the endearing sweet young ingénue couple. The changes you will note most readily will be the new versions of some of your favorite songs and the addition of some new ones as well. The stage version has enriched the harmonies to give a more full vocal score and has added some great new songs such as “Cellular Fusion” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You”.
