Dinner and Theatre Promotion

Community Players is pleased to announce that several local restaurants will offer dinner discounts to those holding tickets for any (same day) performance of their next show, “Rumors”, a comedy by Neil Simon.

Chef/Owner Jim Hughes of Restaurant 213 will offer $35 fixed price three course dinners, as he has done for the Players last show and for several other local performing arts groups such as the Salisbury Symphony. Reservations are necessary.

Several members of the Local Owners Restaurant Association (LORA) will be offering discounted meals. These include a 10% discount at Lombardi’s and Maynie's, 15% at Adam’s Ribs, Vinny’s La Roma, Cactus Taverna and Zia’s Italian Grill, and 20% at Break Time.

For the evening performances, pre-show theater goers should present their tickets to servers when ordering. Those attending the Sunday matinees should present their ticket stubs.

Alex Bubas of Zia’s, president of LORA, stated that his group is “pleased to be able to support the local arts scene by offering these discounts. LORA is dedicated to promoting cultural and other worthy activities in our local community.”
